Ive played Final Fantasy VII,VIII,X,X-2,XII,& XIII and this one is my favorite. The story pulls you in. You feel an emotional attachment to the characters. The plot is amazing. Blitzball is kickass. The battle system is highly strategic. The graphics are some of the best seen on the ps2. The soundtrack is superb. Simply amazing game.
If you are new to the final fantasy series, start with X. It won't dissapoint. btw, Final Fantasy VII holds a close 2nd in my opinion.

Final Fantasy X is another great entry in the final fantasy series. The game follows Tidus as he tries to connect mysteries, falls in love, and realizes what he and his companions must do to save the world of Spira. From my opinion Final Fantasy X is the last great game in the final fantasy series, because after the creator Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square Enix the final fantasy games don't feel great anymore. Unless if he goes back one day. But yeah Final Fantasy X has great graphics, story, sound, and gameplay. You should play this game. You might be touched at the end of the game like some other people were.
One of the Best Final Fantasy Games!

I'm not gonna waste too much time on this review. If you played and loved Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX then you will also love X. The story is excellent, the battles are amazing and fun, and the graphics are some of the best the PS2 has to offer!
This is the last Final Fantasy game to use a turn based battle system. I for one am a huge fan of turn based systems. I know a lot of people think they are old and over used, and maybe they're right but I say if aint broke don't fix it. I do agree that for the series to continue to move forward something had to give but I just wish it hadn't been the battle system. :(
On a side note I will say that Final Fantasy XIII's real-time battle system is AMAZING!! So after the crappy real-time system of FF XII they finally get it right with XIII. But we're talking about X here so lets get back to it shall we?
Okay, Final Fantasy X takes everything players loved from previous Final Fantasy games and shines them up for their last go-a-round! Battles are strategic and a blast to play. They never seem to get boring or repetitive. The story is the best one since Final Fantasy VII, and the characters are some of the most memorable. While not quite as unique and memorable as the beloved characters from Final Fantasy VII they are very interesting and you'll soon find yourself attached to each and every one of them. Like previous FF games, X will have you caring about what happens to the characters under your control.
The main quests and the tons of side-quests will have you playing this game for 50 to upwards of 100 hours! Plus, you'll love every minute of it! So do yourself a huge favor and buy this game! For me this is the 3rd best Final Fantasy game behind Final Fantasy VI and the supremely excellent Final Fantasy VII!!
My favorite Final Fantasy of the entire series.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan. I have played and own every Final Fantasy except for XI. Final Fantasy X is one I keep going back to, time and time again.
When I bought it nearly nine years ago, I was blown away. I had never seen graphics like that before. The music is absolutely beautiful and haunting. I played day and night, only stopping briefly to eat or go to the bathroom. I just couldn't pry myself away from this game. The storyline had me hooked immediately. The leveling system, although intimidating at first, was easy to learn and made developing characters fun instead of a chore. The characters were likeable, all with distinct looks, personalities, and backgrounds. Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about this game. I bought a PS2 just to play it and I have never regretted it. I even got my husband to play it two years ago, and he loved it, too. It has really kept its appeal, even after all these years. I can see myself playing it in 10 more years, assuming my PlayStation still works.
I don't think I've ever played a game that left me emotional like this one. After finishing it, I feel depressed, like I've actually lost good friends, and no other game has done that to me, not even Final Fantasy VII. Everytime the ending plays, I have to fight back tears. This is a game that hit me hard, and has stayed with me ever since.
love it

This is the best game ever.
If you're looking for a great storyline combined with timeless characters, then this is the game for you.
It's all about the story that captivates you.
The fantasy world is truly an imaginative and vivid experience unlike anything you've ever seen.
